1100 Unit Apartment Complex Planned For 2000 Biscayne

Kushner Companies is under contract to purchase the 2000 Biscayne site and plan to build an 1100 unit apartment building, according to The Real Deal.

The 32,775 square foot site was recently sold for $13.1 million to Enrique Manhard in October 2018 after purchasing it from Verzasca Group. When Verzasca Group own the land, they demolished the City Hall restaurant on the site and had plans to build a 36 story rental building with 393 units.

Kushner plans on financing the $550 million three phase project. The first phase, with 400 units will break ground third quarter this year.

The Verzasca Group has sold their 32,775 square foot site at 2000 Biscayne for $13.1 million to Enrique Manhard, according to The Real Deal. Verzasca Group purchased the property for $13 million in March 2016.

Previously on the site was the former City Hall Restaurant that was demolished in January 2017. Verzasca Group had plans to build a 36 story rental tower with 393 unit.

Verzasca Group recently started construction on the 16 story Aurora Sunny Isles.

After demolishing the former City Hall restaurant in January, Verzasca Group is planning to build a 36 story rental tower, according to The Real Deal. 

The 32,775 square foot site located at 2000 Biscayne in Edgewater was purchased for $13 million in March 2016. The rental tower, designed by Dorsky + Yue, will have 393 units with 25 studios, 175 one bedrooms, 181 two bedrooms and 12 three bedrooms. 

2000 Biscayne is located near where ASRR Capital plan to build two towers at 60 and 40 stories.

Demolition has started at the former City Hall Restaurant site in Edgewater located at 2000 Biscayne Boulevard. 

The 32,775 square foot site was purchased in early 2016 for $13 million by the Verzasca Group, which is led by former NHLer Darius Kasparaitis. 

A 649 foot tower designed by ODP Architects has already been approved by the FAA.
